Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd International Foundation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the Arab Federation for Volunteering in the Kingdom of Bahrain, launched an award named (Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd International Foundation Insignia for Voluntary Work) on the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, which falls on the fifth of December of each year.
It is organized this year in partnership with the United Nations Volunteer Program - Egypt, United Nations Population Fund - the Regional Office for Arab States, and the Arab Planning Institute - Kuwait.
