Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd International Foundation Global Insignia for Best Voluntary Work extends the period of projects submission deadline until November 15 2020 instead of the end of October 2020 as scheduled. The insignia is organized by Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd International Foundation in cooperation with The Arab Voluntary Union, under the auspices of the League of Arab States, and in partnership with the United Nations Volunteers Program - Egypt, the United Nations Population Fund – the Regional Office for Arab Countries and the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait.
Mr. Hassan Buhazza, President of the Arab Voluntary Union said “Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd International Foundation Global Insignia for Best Voluntary Work evaluating committee held an official meeting to announce the extension of the project submission period due to the increased number of submitted projects and in order to provide more opportunities for volunteers from around the world to participate and to have sufficient time to prepare their projects”.
“The organizing committee formed a team to evaluate volunteers projects in various categories that were submitted through the insignia’s official website www.arabvu.org/voluntaryinsigni since the opening date October 2020, submissions can still be made until the extended deadline of November 15”. He added
The insignia will be held in conjunction with International Volunteer Day, which falls on the fifth of December of each year and is estimated at 30.000 US dollars for each field, with a total of 180.000 US dollars and will cover areas in the fields of education, health, economic empowerment, heritage, culture and art, water management and environment in addition to the fields of marketing and social media.
